Job description
We are hiring Seasonal Tax Preparers to join our team during tax season (1099 opportunity).
In this role, you will prepare and file individual tax returns, assist clients with documentation,
and provide excellent customer service. Training and support will be provided, but prior tax
prep experience is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate federal and state individual tax returns
- Review W-2s, 1099s, and financial records
- Identify deductions and credits to maximize refunds
- Provide clear explanations and answer client questions
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with IRS standards
Experience & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preparer Tax Identification number (PTIN) desired but not required.
- Experience with tax preparation preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
